BiB visits The Delaine Bus Museum

BiB enjoyed a visit to the Delaine Bus Museum last Tuesday evening. The group were given a tour.

The Delaine Heritage Trust, was established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2015 with the aim of establishing and maintaining the Delaine Bus Museum for the benefit of the public. Dedicated to preserving, promoting and displaying the collection of heritage buses, photographs, documents, artefacts and memorabilia of Delaine Buses Ltd, now one of England’s oldest surviving Independent Bus Operators for the purpose of education, reference, research and general interest.

The Museum is operated on a Voluntary basis by the trustees and a small group of volunteers, which includes the suitably qualified drivers. Funding for the running and maintenance costs of the Museum and Heritage Fleet is entirely by the Operational Income from the Heritage Fleet, associated Sales and Donations from Individuals, Organisations and Groups such as yourselves.

Where do you meet?

The Bourne in Business club normally meets at the The Angel Hotel in Bourne, Lincolnshire. However, from time to time we do visit and hold meetings in different locations.
